We are happy to welcome you to enjoy the grounds of Farnsworth House for walking, quiet reflection, or picnicking on the lawn. Edith Farnsworth’s Country House – the temporary refurnishing of Farnsworth House to its 1955 appearance – may be viewed outside the home and from the upper terrace, using our online exhibition guide. No interior tours will be given of the Farnsworth House.

Wed. – Sun. | 9:30 am – 3:30 pm

No admission after 2:00 pm

Adults $10 (plus $2.50 convenience fee online)

Children (ages 2-12) $5

Children under 2 are FREE!

Guests are encouraged to arrive prepared for the outdoors (i.e. sunscreen, insect repellent, water, a folding chair or picnic blanket – and umbrellas or rain ponchos, if needed.) No alcoholic beverages permitted on-site.

Our gift shop and restrooms (inside the Visitor Center) will be open following Covid-19 safety standards. Social distancing protocols will be in effect and guests are required to wear masks when indoors and encouraged to wear them outdoors, as well when social space is limited.

The Farnsworth House Historic Site is not a public park, so climbing, fires, loud music and active sports are discouraged. We ask that children be supervised at all times and NEVER left unattended on the terraces of the house.
